to Show off Latest Trends
MANILA, March 28, 2005 | All about Weddings
4, the trend-setting bridal exposition organized by InterContinental
Manila and ABS-CBN Publishing’s Metro Weddings Magazine, will
unreel April 10 – 11, 2005 at the hotel. Now on its fourth
successful year, the event will gather the country’s most
sought-after wedding product and service suppliers.
On exhibit at the lobby are the wedding gowns
of movie queen Susan Roces- Poe by J. Moreno, Grace Barbers-Baja
by Joe Salazar, Nancy Binay-Angeles by Patrice Ramos-Diaz and Anne
Binay-Alcantara by Aureo Alonso. Cooking demonstrations on easy
and fast-to-prepare dishes will be conducted by Food Magazine culinary
experts on Sunday, April 10, at 2 PM. Following shortly at 4 PM
will be talks on basic home styling by noted interior designers
courtesy of Metro Home Magazine. Make-up demonstrations by Metro
Weddings will be held on Monday, April 11, at 12:30 PM.
Cesar Gaupo, chief designer for Shanghai Tang’s
made-to-order line, will present his haute couture creations for
a full bridal entourage under his own label for a garden wedding.
This will take place also on Monday, April 11, at the poolside garden
at 6 PM. Gowns for the mothers of the wedding couple, the principal
and the secondary sponsors, the brides maids, and flower girls in
the most exciting colors will be shown. Noted floral designer Tony
Rodriguez will take charge of garden design and table settings.
Beauty expert Patrick Rosas and his team will handle hair and make-up.
Jewelry will be provided by Rafael. Staging and direction will be
by Jackie Aquino.
All about Weddings 4 is presented in cooperation with Globe Platinum,
