A Book of Wedding Proposals

Calling all engaged and married men (and women)! Perfect-Proposals.com, where love is expressed in endless ways, is publishing its first book, and they want you to be a part of it! Simply titled "Perfect Proposals," this unique collection is home to dozens of Philippine wedding proposals, including proposals they have coordinated. We are glad to note that Gov.ph, the Official Government Portal of the Republic of the Philippines, has acknowledged W@W as one of it content sources. Their Marriage FAQ page is based on the contents of our Law & Requirement section. Isn't that cool? =)

W@W Photo Exhibit opens today

As this year's opening exhibition, The Alcove presents the 2005 W@W Desktop Gallery Photo Exhibit, a display of wedding photographs featured in the two recently released W@W desk calendars entitled "Butterfly Kisses" and "Hitched". The exhibit will run from January 10 to 22, 2005. The Alcove Photo Gallery is a pocket gallery located at the Filipinas Heritage Library, Makati Avenue, Ayala Triangle, Makati City across The Peninsula Manila. It is open for public viewing Tuesdays to Saturdays at 9am to 6pm.

For 2005, we have updated our Wedding Snapshot section (that's the main photo featured in our frontpage) with 24 new wedding images. These pictures are displayed in random order so each time you visit W@W, it is likely that you will see a different image on the page as credited to the respective photographer who took it.

Marriage Preparation Weekends

We encourage all soon-to-weds and couples seriously considering marriage to take time and attend either the Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) or Discovery Weekend (DW) to help them prepare for the marriage and not just merely focus on the wedding. The 2005 schedule for these two weekend programs is now posted in our site. Discovery Weekend in Cebu will keep us posted about their weekend sched for 2005 as soon as it's finalized.

Bring it on, 2005!

Already, we've got our hands full as we welcome 2005! On the 1st day of the year comes another article in our column, Prep Talk for Manila Bulletin's monthly bridal suppliment -- About Weddings. Also, check out the two glossy desk calendars ("Butterfly Kisses" and "Hitched") we just released featuring photographs by 23 noted wedding photographers. The same photographs will also be on exhibit at The Alcove of the Filipinas Heritage Library from Jan. 10 to 22. Looks like 2005 will be another busy year for W@W, but we're not complaining! =) Happy New Year!!!
