We've always known that a lot of our readers are into showbiz weddings as well; but the hits we got from Google and Yahoo searches the past week -- particularly about Danica Sotto's wedding gown -- simply calls for this sequel post. The past couple of weeks, the W@Wies have been abuzz with Danica Sotto (daughter of Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie) and Marc Pingris'(basketball star from PBA's Purefoods Chunkee Giant) wedding held earlier this month. This is probably one celebrity wedding which the W@Wies can relate to the most as majority of the suppliers in the lineup are also those who are popular within the W@W eGroup. We have come to the end of the line for this week's AVP series. For our closing video, we chose the work of Shierdan Pamintuan -- a virtually unknown early last year but has been nominated in The 2006 W@Wie Award and even snatched one of the TOP 5 trophies! 15 MARCH 2007 AVP Week '07: Day 4 - Baptism of Fire!
If every batch of W@Wies have a 'flavor of the moment' in their quest for fresh talents in videography, this is probably the it-guy at this time. Jezreel Cruz doesn't hide the fact that he's new in the business and his clients (so far) are all W@Wies. Actually, we were seriously concerned that this video would not make it in time for today's presentation. That could've cut short the AVP Week by one day. But it's here now, and personally, what we saw exeeded our expectation from someone new in the business. He called this clip 'New Beginnings,' we call it his baptism of fire. Check this out!

14 MARCH 2007 AVP Week '07: Day 3 - Iloilo's Pride!
When we asked Jason Magbanua for referrals of promising names we could possibly feature for this AVP Week, he suggested two non-Manila based videographers. The first one never replied to our offer; but Iloilo-based Fiel Pranga of Mayad Studios agreed and have risen up to the challenge. As proven by one of last year's entry, suppliers based in the provinces could be at par (or somethimes, even better!) with their Manila counterparts. We particularly liked the scoring and the text graphics in this clip. Watch it now.

When we talk about a reality TV approach to wedding videos, there's only one name that comes to mind -- Buddy Gancenia. As far as we know, he pioneered in this innovative concept in early 2005. When we comissioned him to do the AVPs for The 2006 W@Wie Awards, he still infused that RealiTV approach and it worked well! Buddy's clip for our AVP Week bears the same trademark that realityweddingvideos.tv is known for. Watch and get real!

Our line-up for last year's AVP Week was such a powerhouse but that didn't mean we've run out of other talented wedding videographers to feature for this year's edition.
