30 OCTOBER 2007 Going, going... and still ongoing....
Aside from the voting, the W@Wies are also busy monitoring bids in the ongoing W@W Christmas Auction that we do every year. The items up for bidding are products and/or services donated by various wedding suppliers to help us raise funds for mounting the W@W Christmas Party. Part of the proceeds will also be donated to a chosen beneficiary. Among the big items up for grabs for this year is the Veluz' bridal gown package worth P50,000. Threelogy also donated a full video coverage valued at P50,000 as well. Robert Blancaflor likewise pledged floral decors and event styling wedding package also for P50,000. W@Wies could have the chance to get these items at a fraction of that price. Here's a partial list of the suppliers who participated in this year's auction. Thanks for the support!

27 OCTOBER 2007 Top 10 Suppliers for 2007!
The W@Wies have submitted their nominations and tonight, we're ready to announce the TOP 10 for the 2007 W@Wie Awards.
This year, three suppliers were tied in last slot so we have eleven names on our list again. Seven of them are previous Top 10 nominees while four suppliers are new in the magic circle. Can't wait to know who they are? Check out the list (in alphabetical order)!
Their scores will now be back to zero as the W@Wies vote anew to determine the Top 5, and ultimately, the 2007 W@W Supplier of the Year.
Winners will be announced during the awarding ceremonies within the W@W Christmas Party to be held on November 23 at the Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang.

On April 15 of this year, Norman & Grace got married. And instead of hiring wedding planners, they sought the help of Scuba1.Net to organize the event as they literally took the plunge in the waters of Ligpo, Batangas. Of course, the groom sported a Barong Tagalog while the bride wore her white gown. 20 OCTOBER 2007 Glorietta 2 Blast Update
After hearing the terrible news about the Glorietta Blast yesterday afternoon, we got in touch with the wedding suppliers with shops in and around Glorietta 2 to know how they are. Alain of Matus Jewellery(shop at Goldcrest near G2) said his staff are all alright and even had the presence of mind to lock the store before evacuation. Ms. Malou Reyes, owner of QP Designs(branch right at the heart of G2 under the elevator) updated us that their personnel were all unharmed though the shop suffered damage. Let us pray for all those who were injured and those who perished due to this senseless and tragic event.

Ready your iPod for this song called 'Tibok.' It's an indie/alternative wedding song that celebrates friendship. It was written and recorded back in '98 so don't be surprised if it sounds a bit Eraserhead-ish(naks!). This original was performed by three of our friends -- two of them are having their 33rd birthdays this month, while the guy who wrote (and sang most of) it is celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary tomorrow. For these milestores, we're dedicating back at them this song they once did for us (click here for more info). Though they might cringe knowing this is once again of the magic baul, we're hoping you enjoy it!
