Nina says ‘I DO’
(PRESS RELEASE) When Nina says "I DO," it doesn’t mean an altar date. It’s the first single off her much-awaited self-titled album under Warner Music Philippines . "I DO" is R&B flavored that many would mistake Nina’s rendition for a foreign artist.
Of the many carefully crafted songs in the album, the Soul Siren picked "I DO" because its theme has a significant meaning in her life. But Nina is quick to assure her fans that she is not yet tying the knot with her rumored boyfriend Nyoy Volante.
"So far, no marriage yet. My career is my priority. I am just so happy that I’m saying ‘I Do’ to life, to work, and I thank God for all wonderful blessings that he gives me each day," she says.
For who would give up a career as successful as Nina’s? She had made her biggest dent in the OPM industry with a string of achievements last year – a monster hit in "Love Moves in Mysterious Ways" and 2005 Awit Best Selling Album award for "Nina Live!" which achieved multi-platinum status.
For Nina, the goal is still to keep on creating original hits just as she did when she first came out with her debut album back in 2002 with "Jealous." The new single "I DO" had a simultaneous radio premiere last July 11, 5 p.m. , in the following stations: Magic 89.9, 99.5RT, Mellow 94.7, Wave 89.1 RX 93.1, 97.1 WLS, Mix FM Davao, UR97 Davao, Monster Radio Davao, Killerbee Davao, Killer-bee Cebu , Killerbee Bacolod, Killerbee Cagayan de Oro, and Monster Radio Cebu.
Nina's new album will hit stores on Aug. 15.
