The W@W Wedding Primer
ISSN 1656-894X
3rd Edition 2005
Beauty & Fitness Special

About this Edition:
Preparing for a wedding takes more than choosing the right suppliers and
attending to the small details to make the big day special. It also means
taking care of yourself to ensure that you look your best come wedding day.
We at WeddingsAtWork.com (W@W) know too well that beyond the
excitement in planning for the main event, comes a body to care for. This is the
reason we tagged the 3rd edition of The W@W Wedding Primer as the
Beauty and Fitness Special. Apart from the regular articles contributed by noted
wedding suppliers, helpful tips from an OB-Gyne and a fitness expert
were added to physically prepare you for your wedding day and
beyond. And, as getting married also means attending to legal niceties, we
referred to a lawyer to explain to us what CENOMAR is and how it
may be of use to you. Indeed, this is the first time that the Wedding Primer
encompasses all aspects in marriage preparation to make it even more timely
and relevant.
We thank all our content contributors for their invaluable help to make this
edition comprehensive. We also like to gratefully acknowledge the efforts of
the following people: Clarice Talavera-Aviņante and Raquel Dayao-Ocampo,
former W@Wies now separately venturing in the field of wedding
coordination, for helping us edit and proofread the final draft in a day's notice
just before we went to the press; Janice Villanueva, for selflessly sharing
with us this novel idea three years ago and for assisting us every step of the way,
back when we were just starting in book publishing; and Jaymie Pizarro, our
creative cover and book designer, for patiently working with us for the past
three editions despite our countless page re-assignments and re-layouts (our
books would not look as cute and as interesting were it not for her knack for
simple yet tasteful designs). Of course, our special gratitude also goes to all
our advertisers for making the release of this annual publication possible. Lastly,
thanks to our dear W@Wies for always being there eagerly sharing their own
practical advice for fellow brides. Their helpful tips
are sprinkled in every edition throughout the pages
of The W@W Wedding Primer.
As most married couples say, there is no User's
Manual on how to make a marriage work. But
that's okay. At least, you are off to a good start by
acquiring this manual on how to have the wedding of your dreams.
