Extreme Wedding Photographer!

rhonson_underwater.jpg

Rhonson Ng is a mountaineer, spelunker, and scuba diver who also happens to be a wedding photographer.  In 2003, he left Manila and moved to Davao with his backpack to climb the country’s highest peak. He have explored Apo and all other peaks twice or thrice a year.  You may remember the e-session he did atop Mt. Apo which we featured early this year.

Last October, he went down the depths for an underwater pre-nup session this time around.  The cool couple who took-up this challenge was Popit Uy & Ning Dureza — the same couple who’s behind what our local media dubbed as the “chopper wedding(we hope to feature the other side of that story — sans the political innuendos — in our upcoming PrepTalk later this month).

Rhon is what we may call as an “extreme wedding photographer” for some of his works is a fusion of extreme/adventure sports and wedding photography capturing breathtaking images never seen in local wedding photography.

We’ve heard from Jojie Alcantara, Rhon’s equally talented partner, that he is setting his sights toward doing prenup sessions inside a cave.  Spelunking couples out there might just have the photographer they’re looking for. ;)
