Want a stand-up comic to entertain your wedding guests?

comedy-cartel.jpgBenz & I have been invited by the Comedy Cartel to watch “Laughology 101″ in Spicy Fingers at Greenbelt.

eCircle Entertainment — Comedy Cartel’s official management company & booking agent — informed us that they are now starting to market stand-up comedy in social events like weddings.  And why not?  If there are wedding singers, why not a wedding stand-up comedians?  The likes of Tim Tayag and Mike Unson have already hosted wedding receptions with their own brand of comedy. Or maybe, you can book any one of the guys for a 15-minute intermission into your program.

Don’t worry.  These guys are not the types who make punchlines at the expense of your wedding  guests (unless, maybe, if you specifically ask for it ;).  Compared to their western counterparts, their humor is very appropriate to Pinoy audiences.  If their jokes fall flat, expect them to make fun of that too. :)

As for their rates, we think now is the best time to inquire since they haven’t really made up their mind how much to charge yet.  But please don’t tell them we told you that. ;)
