What a way to entertain the guests right before the newly-minted Mr. & Mrs. make their Grand Entrance at the wedding reception!

The couple is Errol Aricheta + Aubrey Carampel (yes, the bride is the showbiz reporter for GMA News). They got hitched December 17, 2011 at Sta.Rita de Cascia in QC and the reception was in White Space in Pasong Tamo, Makati. Not pedicab-able. No, not by long shot. This video was edited by wedding videographer, Stephen Prado.  He co-directed this with Cesar Apolinario — also a Kapuso reporter.

Filipino wedding photographers have gone a long way in taking their craft beyond the traditional wedding portraits. If you’re a keen observer, you may even agree with us that ‘wedding landscape’ is the the more appropriate term for most images in this collection since the newlyweds are important but miniscule details in the overall look of the wedding photograph.

One thing we’ve overlooked the last feature (Money Shots | Best of Prenups 2011) is to define what ‘money shots‘ actually mean.  Well, it’s a term commonly used by photographers and videographers for visually arresting images that could potentially bring in the money, so to speak.

We know that not all personal wedding vows are always captured for the onsite video.  We also admit that we haven’t seen and heard all the greatest exchange of vows the past year.  But for the past couple of days, we’ve definitely heard a lot of good ones as shared to us by wedding videographers and W@Wies alike.

More than the visual aspect of these videos, we listened intently as these couples exchange promises to each on their wedding day.  Good editing definitely helps - with choice soundbites blended seamlessly with the music. But the heart & soul of these wedding videos are the words uttered. Some of these vows are funny, while others are heartfelt; while even some managed to be both at the same time! The marriage vows included in our list were either read, memorized, recited impromptu, or even adlibbed.  But no matter how they were said, ALL are very personal. A glimpse into the couple’s story.
