We asked wedding suppliers and our dear W@Wies to email us photos and links of favorite bridal bouquets they’ve seen the past year. From those we received, we trimmed the list down to our eleven favorites.

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

To say that these two artists are creative is an understatement. “Cute ng wedding. Very Jolina!” said one comment when we posted links to the their prenups and wedding album in the W@W FB page (LIKE us up to get similar updates).

Here’s one from their engagement session . . .

A wedding for the books!
Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

We almost missed posting about this real-life wedding. Their story was emailed to us by Jasmine Mendiola who was the make-up artist in the said wedding.  The excerpt below is from an article of the same title:

couple-rockysarah.jpg

(via Phil. Star) As Rocky (Ramon Miguel B. Abaño) and Sarah (Sarah Amelyn G. Bautista) exchanged “I dos” last January 22, they not only shared their vows in front of families and friends, they shared their thoughts and words on love and life with their first co-authored book, Under the January Moon (published by Central Books Publishing). The book, given as a wedding souvenir to their guests, is a collection of prose and poetry written by them throughout the years. [READ MORE….]

from the bride: Our wedding was a Prose & Poetry-themed wedding cum book launch cum fundraising project. My husband and I launched our first co-authored book entitled “Under the January Moon.” We gave the books to our guests as souvenirs. At the same time, the guests were encouraged to buy a book for a friend and the whole amount goes to two institutions here in our country that focus on the development of children in depressed communities: one is SAGIP (Sagipin ang Galing, Isip at Pangrap), a child & youth development program of Gawad Kalinga (means “to give care”); and the other one is Santa Maria Eufrasia Daycare Center, a school in the mountains of Sariaya, Quezon, practicing the Waldorf teaching method. Donations were made under the name of the donor guest. This advocacy angle of our wedding was our way of doing our share in making the world a little bit brighter for children. It’s our lifetime commitment to love not just each other but those who are in need.

 Bravo Rocky & Sarah! :)

A Shanghai Tang inspired wedding!
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Shanghai Tang is one of the stores we never fail to checkout whenever we visit Hong Kong.  The brand is known for its Chinese-inspired clothing and accessories that are modern and trendy.  The stores are usually accentuated by utilizing  bright and vivid colours, from lime greens to brilliant fuchsias.

The brand’s image were creatively captured in the 10.10.10 wedding of one Tsinoy couple, Bren & Jehan.  Here are some photographs from the said wedding as captured by Jervy Santiago, who happens to be the couple’s batchmate in St. Jude, the Chinese Catholic school beside Malacañang.
