Sometime in August, we posted the poster above on the wall of the W@W FB page.  It was a prenup/engagement session for a fraction of the usual price.  W@Wies (members of the W@W eGroup)  were further given a 50% discount when they signed up.  If you missed out on this one, we suggest you LIKE our FB page as we post/share more promos from wedding suppliers in our timeline.

As for the W@Wies who joined the Prenup Marathon, the feedback we got are positive.  They are all happy and amazed how organized everything were.  Props to team Imagine Nation for organizing this event!

W@W Assignment is a series of timeline shoots assigned to different photographers to capture how wedding suppliers do their work from beginning to end and get a glimpse of some behind-the-scene images. The project is inspired by this blogpost by Dino Lara who covered the rarely seen images how weddings are made.

With this, we hope to give soon-to-weds an overview how much heart is needed to come up with a great wedding. If the wedding suppliers are treated right, they give you heaven & earth if they can.  But without mutual trust & respect, they still do their job but merely run on autopilot to get the job done.

To kick off the series, we start with the mother assignment which Benjie Tiongco willingly accepted to do for us. He covered all the bases for almost 24 hours! Benz got goosebumps when reviewing his assignment.

We’d also like to acknowledge Donna Romano-Uy (a W@Wie) for welcoming the idea and letting us sneak in her wedding, and to her of team suppliers for accommodating Benjie and giving him the extra space to be able to capture the images he needed.

Thanks to all who dropped by the W@W Booth during last weekend’s bridal fair.  The signatures on our wall are from past & present W@Wies, wedding suppliers and other soon-to-weds who took time to sign. Special mention to Noel of Graphizar Designs for doing an on-the-spot caricature of Benz & I to top everything off!

Indeed, having a Graffiti Wall for your guests to sign-on during your wedding would be a great and fun idea too. (Better than the usual guestbook!)

Our deep gratitude also goes to the following people: Ronald and Psych Correos of 4th Wall for designing our booth, to Feliz Lucas for the talk balloon props, to John + Anna of Aisle 1401 for covering the happenings in our booth the past 3 days, and to all the W@Wies who spent time to man the booth. In last Friday’s celebration, designer Boy Kastner Santos of Sheaths Couture has been named Supplier of the Year in the 2011 W@Wie Awards!
