I learned that a wedding... ...lasts only for a day. And it doesn't affect, in any way, how the marriage will turn out. Sheng (to marry Darrel) 30.jan.2010
about this episode:In this week’s episode, we feature wedding supplier-couples — particularly two photographers whose significant others are both MUAs (make-up artists in W@Wie lingo). Erron Ocampo & Jesy Alto are relatively newlyweds having been married only in 2010. Noel Salazar & Rae Venturanza are engaged to be married later this year. We chatted with the foursome about their first meeting, the courtship, their LQs during wedding preps and if other people notice it. We also talk about their passion for their respective professions. Because of the fun banter, our actual chat recording lasted almost 2 hours. We thought of leaving them all in instead of majorly editing it to fit one episode. This is only the first of 2 parts.
about this episode:We got three women photographers as podcast guests this week — Arlene Briones, Shayla Sanchez, and Danielle Tan. Collectively, they are The Boudoir Dolls - specializing in personal photo sessions for women by women. For those who are still in the fence in booking a boudoir session, our discussion with them might just be the push you need.
This prenup video you’re about to see is EPIC - and we’re not loosely using the word. First off, this premiered in a wedding reception via this superwide screen (36 footer with 4 projectors controlled by a watch out computer).
Most of the scenes were shot within the premisses of SM malls (Cubao & Megamall). The couple is Chris + Candice. The dance scenes were choreographed by Jill Ngo. This wedding film is directed by Dominic Velasco of Imacron.
We got an email from a Chinoy couple based in the UK who did their own prenup pictorial. They didn’t just style the shoot, but they literally called the shots (with the help of a tripod, of course!). Here’s what their note said . . .
Hi W@W! My groom and I are Tsinoy currently living and working in England. Both of us are aspiring photographers. We had a DIY e-session here for our shabby chic vintage wedding in May to be held in the Philippines. I am just wondering whether you would be interested to see them and hopefully gets featured.
Both Irvin + Charisse are into photography. They do have plans getting into events photography, and they’re just giddy to be the first couple in their own portfolio.

why Cebu? We are posting this week’s episode a day earlier since we’re bound for Cebu early morning to give a short talk about W@W and the little things we know about Pinoy weddings. Ours is just a bit of Rita Neri’s 2-day seminar on Professional Wedding Coordination on March 15-16, 2012, at the Marriot Hotel. Dino Lara (photo), Madge Lejano (makeup) and Jason Magbanua (video) will each give a talk on Day 1 while we serve as facilitators in the open forum. Joining Rita on Day 2 are Jing Tanada (event styling), Ghia Pastoral of Write Impressions (invites), Peachy Juban (cakes), Jake Arevalo of Forsc Ink (lights & sounds), and Max Tiu (Chinese emcee). This event is organized by Shirley Grace Ong of Wedding Prelude Event Planning & Coordination.
about this episode: Shirley Grace “Shai” Ong flew to Manila in early February to meet with us to discuss the said event. But before our dinner meeting, we invited her to chat with us about Cebu weddings. We also asked her list of must-see and must-eat in Cebu!
