It’s a word that people use to describe the state of happiness during a wedding. The day is full of positivity and words like “Congratulations,” “Best wishes,” “Yes!” and “I do” are staple phrases we often hear in such a joyous occasion. We would like to acknowledge the contributions of the 12 talented photographers featured here in “Happy Happy” — Volume 1 of the 2009 W@W Desktop Gallery (Volume 2 is called “Happy Tears” and images in that one are thumbnailed at the back of this calendar). Some of the pictures you’ll see in the following pages don’t just reflect the joys of wedded couples, a few even illustrates that some newlyweds do make fun of themselves! These are photographs that will bring smiles to people. It is our wish for these images may inspire other soon-to-weds to have fun on their big day. Months of planning (or even years in some cases!) don’t assure of the so-called perfect wedding. If a dream wedding turns into a disaster, couples must let go and enjoy the day as those glitches makes their wedding truly memorable. 2009 will be especially significant for WeddingsAtWork.com (W@W) as we celebrate the site’s 10th anniversary. We share with you this desk calendar as a token of our utmost appreciation for the support you’ve given W@W throughout these years and the next ten-ten-te-ten years ahead!
